ISL Representative Program
Partner with ISL on your campus! Join our network of more than 200 representatives throughout the U.S. and Canada!
There are three types of ISL Reps:
Team Reps promote the ISL team on which they will be traveling to friends, classmates, and the clubs/orgs with which they are involved. Duties include recruiting others to join their ISL team, encouraging fellow team members to submit applications in a timely manner, and acting as point of contact between ISL staff and team members for general inquiries and updates. Compensation is $100 travel credit for each student recruited, to be applied to Team Rep’s trip cost. If Team Rep earns more travel credit than needed to cover trip cost, remaining credits can either be applied to a later trip or redeemed for a cash scholarship of $50 per credit.
Student Reps promote ISL programs on campus to friends, classmates, and the clubs/orgs with which they are involved. Duties include presenting ISL at meetings, sending out listserv messages, and generally communicating with students about ISL opportunities. Compensation is $100 travel credit for each student recruited. After having traveled with ISL, Student Reps can choose between $100 in travel credit and $50 in cash scholarships for each student recruited.
School Reps recruit, train, and support Student and Team Reps and ensure that ISL programs are promoted campus-wide at fairs, in student newspapers, on websites, etc. A School Rep must have already participated on an ISL team. Compensation is $50 in scholarship funds for every student from campus who travels with ISL. Additionally, School Reps receive a $100 bonus when 6 to 12 students travel on the same team from their school and a $200 bonus if 13 or more students travel on the same team from their school. School Reps also qualify for significant travel discounts.
Positions are limited; Reps are chosen on a selective basis. For questions concerning your application, contact Diannah@ISLonline.org.
