Ticketing Information

If you are traveling to Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, or Belize, be sure and check with Tico Travel for your airline tickets.  They have good rates and are often used by ISL travelers.  You can also go online and search for cheap rates or special deals.

For Africa, google humanitarian airfare and check with these major airlines:  Delta / Northwest, KLM, Emirates, and British Airways. Try Google Search to find flights as well.

WAIT TO BOOK YOUR TICKET UNTIL YOUR U.S. TEAM MANAGER CONTACTS YOU. Your team manager will assist you in this process, so feel free to ask them questions. All team members need to arrive on the first day of the program between 8:00 am and 9:30 pm, if possible, and depart on the last day of the program in the first half of the day.  Not all airlines can accommodate this schedule, so make sure you contact your Team Manager with the travel times available to you for an ‘OK’ before you purchase the ticket.

Once you have purchased your ticket, email a copy of the itinerary to your team manager.  A flight roster will be sent to you later to verify that all information is correct.  The flight roster will then be sent to your Field Team Leader, who will arrange pick-up times for the team. We look forward to serving and working with you in the field.  If you have any questions contact us at info@ISLonline.org.
