Please note that this is a very general itinerary to simply give you some geographical points of orientation. You will receive a more detailed itinerary after you are signed up for the program and have chosen your program length and location.
First Day: Arrive in Belize City Airport (actually at a suburb called "Ladyville").
Second Day: Orientation in San Ignacio area, usually at La Loma Luz Hospital.
Third through Seventh Days: Project time in San Ignacio area in Western Belize or Belmopan in Central Belize. Evenings are used for prepping for next day's project, enjoying informative seminars and/or exploring the area, recreation, touring. This may include hiking, Mayan Ruin exploring, swimming in a waterfall, enjoying the local town and its people.
Weekend: Are spent preparing for the next weeks projects as well as more of the recreational activities above.
Second Week: Project time with evening's recreational time or relaxing.
Second Weekend: Trip to Cay Caulker off the Caribbean coast of Belize for snorkeling, great seafood, a little "Caribbean night life", fishing, swimming, shopping, hangin' out....
