ISL Application
Before filling out the application form below, you will need to decide on the trip that would best fit your schedule needs. Go to our 2010-2011 Team Schedule and Costs for dates, destinations, costs, as well as the deposit deadline dates.
You can check out the different countries to help you make your decision. In addition to that source, we’ll be glad to answer any other questions you may have via:

Please carefully read this information to ensure a smooth experience for both you and ISL:
- Please see the Frequently Asked Questions before submitting an application (if you haven’t already) so that you have a better understanding of how ISL works.
- You can use the financial sponsorship program available through Good Samaritan Missions. You can find out how the sponsorship program works by visiting Funding Your Trip which offers information on fundraising, then go to Sponsorship Program – How it Works.
- For details on Withdrawal and Refunds please read our Withdrawal and Refund Policy.
- A total of $285 is due with your application. This includes an $85 non-refundable application fee (not included in the trip cost) and a $200 non-refundable trip deposit toward the cost of your trip. In the unlikely event your trip is canceled by International Service Learning, you will be given the option of moving to another team or a refund of your $200 deposit. You will be asked to make a choice of payment methods for the $285 after the successful completion of your application.
- A $750 installment payment will be due when the team is confirmed as “GO”. At this time you will be requested to send in your first installment of $750 toward your trip cost.
- Final payment is due 25 days prior to your trip departure. You will receive an invoice that will include sponsorship donations if you applied for sponsorship with Good Samaritan Missions.
- It is strongly suggested that you purchase medical/trip cancellation insurance as there are times when weather, late flights, airline problems or emergencies cause a cancellation and the only way that you will be able to secure a refund is through the insurance you purchase.

After successfully submitting the application, you will be taken to a page where you can pay the application fee via an on-line check, mail-in check or PayPal (Credit Card).
